Hi.. Olla again...
January has past so fast that we are at the end of it already. Times flying so fast lately, dont you think so?
Cerita peram dah lama dah. Disebabkan beberapa hal yang tak dapat nak dielakkan, maka diri ini dilanda bizi sangat la kunun kan (yes yes... i am busy always kahkahkah).
Remember the art class that i went on last December yeah?? Wondering what kind of art is it?
Its call TATTING.
yup... masa first time dengar tu, i was like apakah??? memang semacam benda alien yang menusuk ke dalam gegendang telinga. First time dengar adalah semasa sedang menyendeng-nyendeng omma untuk belajar mengait. Then suddenly omma cakap, belajar tatting la... and i was like -TATTING?? Makhluk asing apakah itu? Then she showed her 30 years punya khazanah. TARAAAA.... dah lama tak buat kata dia. nak tunjuk balik pun dah kekok. And she was not that patient to teach me that i has to google how to get the right technique.
It is like making your own custom made lace. Using your own bare hands, with a little help of the thing that call shuttle, and of course thread. It use some special thread to have a very nice tatting lace.
Hahahahaha... Malu kalau anak dara dia tak reti benda seni-seni yang dia reti - kata arwah Tok Cik. tapi mengapa omma tak paksa kami? Ini semua salah omma. Hahahhahaahahahha....
Then i went googling here n there to get more information on how to get the thread, the shuttle, the notes and the patterns. I fall in love immediately with it. It was like love at the first sight. Oh my God - benang dia mahal! buku dia mahal! seni ni mahal! most of the stuff is imported from UK or US. T__T
Terjumpa dengan the nice Kak Jon thru the world wide web yang suggest untuk masuk group tatting kat facebook. Dari situ, banyak yang dia kongsikan. Salah satunya adalah this short course yang Muzium Textile kelolakan, dan Kak Jon la yang menjadi tenaga pengajarnya. And of course la i cant wait to join in, plus its free... hihihihi...
